1960 ES-350TDN Natural Finish for sale:
- The ES-350TDN is almost identical to a Gibson Byrdland guitar, except that
it has a ply top instead of spruce. It's a thin semi-hollow with a single
cutaway (rounded), dual PAF humbuckers, and a "3/4 sized" neck (great
for those stretcher jazz chords). This guitar has
a great feel and tone for jazz or R&B players.
- According to Gibson, there were only 15(fifteen)
ES-350TDN guitars manufactured in 1960. This means that of all archtop
guitars made by Gibson, this particular guitar is the RAREST OF ALL GIBSON
PRODUCTION MODELS, OF ALL YEARS . This of course, excludes "one-offs"
and individual custom orders.
- This guitar is in excellent (mint) original
condition and I am also including the original pink-lined Gibson brown guitar
case with the guitar. Check with vintage guitar magazines, Gibson or George
Gruhn and you can see that any of the remaining 1960 ES-350 TDN Naturals
still in existence would be appraised at an average value of over $6000-$7000.
- Due to the excellent condition of this guitar,
the rarity, and the inclusion of the original case, I am asking for $12000
firm.
