This is an MS Excel application that I've created to help guitar players learn and memorize the names of the all notes on the fretboard on any (or all) of the 6 strings, from open to the 15th fret. The user can select which strings will be included by using checkboxes. Fifty random string and fret combinations at a time can be endlessly generated and printed, including any, all or none of the correct answers, if so desired.
1) If you will be working at the computer, simply answer the questions one at a time and check your answers by clicking on the "Show" button that's right next to each problem.
2) If you will be working away from the computer, print the page (with no answers), then click on the "Show All Answers" button and print the page (with all answers). Now you have a test page and an answer page that you can take with you...
